--One of the most important parts of the profile, write as much as you can describing your character's personality here. • Genjutsu Prodigy — It is largely rumored by some of the higher ups within Kumogakure that Shinji might hold the potential of being the best illusion user in the village’s history. The boy’s talents lie mostly with the alteration of people’s memories. Some hold enough strength that they can cause nearly permanent psychological impact.
  
• Sealing Proficiency — Training coming solely from his father, Shinji has become talented in the application of this complicated artform. Most of his use comes from creating seals that instantly trap victims in his illusions should they witness (or touch) them. He has these tattooed in many places across his body as well as concealed on his person.
  

• Ninja Techniques —Shinji never quite enjoyed utilizing chakra to perform much of anything outside of illusions. Because of this he has little interest or practical skill in performing ninjutsu outside of the basic applications taught in the academy.
  
• Physical Skills — Similarly to his use (or lack thereof) in Ninjutsu, he does not have a lot of skill when it comes to physical application. He only knows the fundamentals of Taijutsu, and they are ones he does not practice frequently.
  
• Brains Over Brawn — Shinji only treasures one thing: intelligence. He prefers to win his battles by staying multiple steps ahead of his opponents by outsmarting them. There are times, however, where that isn’t a possibility. His little talents in Taijutsu makes him easy to overpower. And, it doesn’t help that he has a bit of a glass jaw.
  
• Stubborn — The male’s biggest downfall is that he can at times get in his own way. Once he has an opinion or mind set on something, it proves nearly impossible to change it.

Daydreamer Seal

Description: A basic Fuuinjutsu developed by Shinji, the “Daydreamer Seal” is a seal that takes the appearance of a rectangle. It acts as a conduit and trigger for his Genjutsu. This is done by either directly looking at or by contacting the seal itself. In addition to Genjutsu Kai, illusions performed through this method will be dispelled should the seal be destroyed.

Description: This illusionary technique allows the user to create a glamour that enables them to either alter the appearance of a currently existing object or create a completely fictitious one. Fairly versatile, the outcomes of this technique are effectively endless. Objects “transformed” via this technique do not gain the properties of whatever item they would hold the appearance of. For example, turning a stick into a sword does not give the stick the sharpness or durability of a sword.

Hell Viewing Technique

Description: After witnessing the hand seals used to cast this technique, the target will witness a swirling of leaves (or similar object) surrounding them. By the time these leaves fall, the target will see a horrific image. This illusion is normally one of their worst nightmares and potentially can leave them paralyzed with fear.

Illusion Clone Technique

Description: After witnessing the hand seals used to cast this technique, the target will fall victim to an illusion where the user can create clones of themselves or others. These clones are capable of fighting and performing “physical” techniques. However, any damage they inflict is solely illusionary. Additionally, these clones may act as catalysts to perform other Genjutsu.

Description: After forming the required hand seals, Shinji will inflict an illusion upon his intended target(s). This causes the target to fall victim to an illusionary effect depending upon their primary elemental affinity. The effects are as follows:

• Katon – They ignite with a fire they can’t seem to put out.
  
• Fuuton – They are trapped in a whirling vaccum that makes it hard to breathe.
  
• Raiton – They are electrified, numbing their limbs.
  
• Doton – They slowly sink into the earth, immobilizing them.
  
• Suiton – They start losing their breath as if they are drowning.

Memory Alteration Technique

Description: The signature technique of Ayume Shinji, this powerful technique works through an impressive combination of Genjutsu and Fuuinjutsu application. The illusion aspect of this technique enables the teen to create and/or alter the memories within the minds of others. While this can prove useful on its own, it is when combined with sealing that it becomes incredibly powerful. Applied through direct contact, Shinji will seal a seal within the mind of the target these memories into his target. This effectively makes them permanent. Even should they manage to free themselves of the illusion, targets will struggle to forget these false reminders that seemingly forever linger within the backs of their minds.
Note: This illusion cannot have a target forget how to perform techniques. It may be performed through his “Daydreamer Seal.” It, however, will only create permanent memories through direct contact. The memories created through this seal may be removed in-character through the assistance of a Genjutsu specialist, a Fuuinjutsu specialist, interrogator, or medical shinobi.
